Why I do this
We need to build Europe’s future. As a matter of fact, the choices we make right now about technology, the environment, the economy and the way we work will shape how well we live in the years ahead.
These choices arrive wrapped in technical language, rigid processes and assumptions nobody stops to question. Let’s change this together.
Good ideas need sustainable context, judgement and people who are willing to carry them through. I want to work on projects that turn into reality and help to change the shape of the economy in Austria, Europe and the way our society works together. (And yes, contrary to what you may derive from my articles, AI does support some of my processes but I prefer researching, evaluating, writing and editing as a human.)
In short: I am looking to work in your team if you are working on innovative projects that aim to provide people with a better life, sustainable and green technologies and real flexibility.
About
I have worked in teams and as a freelancer at the intersection of marketing, content, product, growth, advertising and translation. Over the years, I have found myself returning to the same types of problems again and again: explaining things around financial literacy, digital assets and economic topics to make finance accessible to everyone who wants to participate. Exploring questions around societal developments, human history and environmental protection is part of my personality.
In all honesty, most of the systems we live and work in are no longer sufficient. Especially in Europe, outdated structures reward inherited security, confuse endurance with performance and expect people to fit into working life and daily life regardless of their background, interests or special needs they may have.
My focus is on what life in Austria could look like if we decide to treat wellbeing, fair pay, human creativity and ecological limits as economic foundations and make sure that everyone is able to live comfortably, no matter their background.
The approach I use in my writing interconnects inequality, work, AI, environmental technology and the erosion of the social contract. They are also the ideas I would love to turn into projects with any team that is working in this direction. I highly value close collaboration, open minds and communication for real people.
What I am looking for
What kind of work are you looking for?
I am open to part-time or full-time roles and fixed-term positions within an organisation. I am interested in fully remote work as well as hybrid roles based in Vienna, Austria. The best work and teams leave ample room for ideas, research, writing and implementation.
What subjects are you interested in?
The efficient use of sustainable technology, environmental change, the future of work, economic and social questions, and the societal structures that determine how people live and contribute. I am especially interested in projects that connect several of these areas.
Do you write in German and English?
Yes. I write, research, translate and work in both German and English.
What do you bring to a team?
I have experience across marketing, content, product, growth, advertising and translation, as well as bilingual writing and research.
How do you work with others?
I love being part of a team that allows people to contribute beyond the limits of a job title. The best folks have open minds and bring different perspectives to working environments in which people feel comfortable speaking up and breaking out of the mould. How do you work with artificial intelligence (AI) tools?
The focus of my work is high-quality content I write myself. I am strongly committed to quality, attention to detail and delivering in a timely manner. However, I also use AI extensively in my daily work, albeit sustainably and where it really makes sense to use it: for instance, to support my research, conduct content audits, draft and edit, and check terminology consistency. I review each writing project on an ongoing basis during the drafting and writing process. In the final stage, I make sure to review projects in at least two revision rounds and with another reviewer before delivery. When I do use AI tools during work processes, I ensure that all information is anonymized.
